"This property needs serious updating from the rooms to dining experience . The major benefit to this hotel is the location . We were very disappointed in the dining and lack of quality options for a hotel this size . You could tell there was a staffing shortage with the long wait to get our bill . The food option was minimal and the quality of what was ordered was to be desired . The rooms although spacious was outdated. Our rooms had mold on the shower curtains, cracks in the bathroom walls...

"Aaron, the Concierge, is great. We did a city tour with him and learned a lot about the city of Galveston. We also booked him to take us to the cruise port and had excellent drop off service. They even recommend a great ride service to and from the Houston airport with Shannon from the Saltwater Moms. Loved the breakfast service and French press coffee at the bed and breakfast as well. "

"This was a good hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. They allow guests to park in their lot throughout the cruise with no additional cost, which is nice. The hotel is definitely a vintage traditional motel from back in the day, so there is wear and tear. Thankfully the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable.
