"Great room at a great price. Reception was very warm and friendly; the room was like new after a total restoration. Would have preferred a walk-in shower, but the tub was new and had a curved shower curtain rod for greater space. Parking was convenient and we would go out of our way to stay again. "Great historic hotel and great price. Right in the center of Arcata Plaza - so lots of cute shopping and restaurants. The sushi place connected to the hotel was tasty. The room we had suited our needs and the bathroom had great water pressure. Our "view" faced the other rooms and part of the roof which was a bummer but we also didn't hear any of the street noise. "
