"Breakfasts was puny . Not a good selection. The room i got smelled very strong like pinesoll. I couldn't sleep very well because the elevator was right by my room. And also my television was broken and i couldn't even watch a movie. Towels were another concern. When I asked for clean towels the staff wouldn't bring me towels. "Didn’t love that the security guard letting people up to the rooftop implied that we wouldn’t have an issue getting a table when in fact the wait was 1.5 hours. Breakfast at the cafe was expensive and tasteless. Coffee was decent. Room was nice and comfortable. Valet mixed up car keys and took 30 minutes to pull up vehicle at check out."

"The room was clean but the bed was very firm. The bathtub wouldn’t drain after its first use but they did fix it the next day. The breakfast was incredible. The staff were cheerful and helpful. It was in easy walking distance of everything I wanted to do while in San Francisco. I did however only had a view of the commercial air handler and roof, nothing else! That was the most disappointing, anything aside from the mechanics of the building and roof would have been appreciated. "

"The location was ok not great! The towels were not soft. Our faucet in the bathroom were not functioning properly. It only had one temperature setting.
I expected a more modern hotel. It needs to be updated for sure!! We had a King room with a view and there wasnt any view since we only saw the corner of two streets!
I am not sure how this hotel had such high ratings. I would have expected it to be more modern!! Since the amenities were old not sure if it clean or not!!

"I live locally and stayed here alone for the night to pull an all nighter for work without disturbing my family.
Room was squeaky clean, bed was comfortable, parking was plentiful and SAFE, front desk staff was very helpful and efficient. The whole place was recently renovated - modern and clean - and has a very nice feel.
