"The hotel rooms were beyond unclean, they were unsanitary. Under one of the beds we found feces, seemingly to be an animals. The beds contained hair as if they didn’t change the sheets. There were prostitutes, drug dealers, and even homeless people in and around the property. And to top it off, the shady, rude main desk worker refused to refund us when we only stayed not even an hour because “we used the beds” when all we did was sit on them and move the sheets, BECAUSE it was so dirty. "This DC Hotel was perfect for our stay. The front desk at check-in were super and suggested a small upgrade for the view. The breakfast was ok and the wharf area was great during the day. We were in the area for the Cherry blossom festival at peak bloom so the area was pretty crowded. This hotel did not disappoint!"

"The bathroom wall had damage from a past issue. The repair required drywall patching, which only had the first coat of drywall mud on it. It looked terrible and I could not believe that they would re-install the towel rack over it and consider it rentable. They did offer another room but it should have never gotten to that. No ice maker worked and you had to get ice from the restaurant."

"It was clean and the staff was great, but the room condition was horrible. I gave it two stars because it at least kept any potential rain off our heads but the air conditioners were so loud that the bed actually vibrated when the compressors kicked on. "The hotel was nice and staff were very friendly. We only encountered 1 staff member who wasn’t as accommodating as others. We traveled with a young baby and the staff were helpful with our requests for additional services. They are responded quickly to any issues in the room.

"No the room was was 82° in the room. I sweated all night. I took four showers I didn’t even sleep in the bed. I slept in the living room because there was a ceiling fan. I thought the buffet breakfast was inclusive, but it was not. There was a struggle to get into the building with my luggage because the door was so heavy and I am disabled all in all it was "

"Lovely room - very spacious. Comfortable, big bed. Shower had good water pressure which was nice. Didn’t use many of the amenities as we were there for sight seeing but lobby/bar was very nice, had a quick drink there. Only downside was the coffee they offered in the morning was very expensive and tasted awful. They should offer free coffee or if they’re going to charge that much, should offer options for better flavors (creamers, syrups etc). "
