"My family and I had a great stay at the Rakuten STAY Naha Tomari Port. The facilities were all very clean as well as the room. My family and I stayed in the six-person room with two double beds and two single bunks on top. The monitor was great for watching shows together before bed after a long day of exploring. I do wish there was a kitchen or a small area with a microwave to heat up food. Overall, this was a great, affordable stay."

"While the lady owner is a Japanese and speaks limited English, she is hospitable and even offered us sweets and coffee during our stay. As the location is quite remote, would only recommend for those who are driving."

"Pretty decent place but if you are expecting a luxurious stay, this is not for you. If you enjoy peaceful environment and wooden furniture, this is the great place for it. However, the 4-bed room was quite small just for me (I was lucky to be the only one there) but if you have to share with 3 other people, it could quickly become difficult. Not enough space for sure. "Yuumi and her team were so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Aka! They picked us up from the port even though it was a short way which was so helpful with our luggage. Hosei is right on the beach front and you can see the best sunset from here as well as relax in the day. It is so tranquil! We arrived at this run down, disgusting looking building at check in time to find a back in 20 minutes sign and a sign out the front with names and rooms (ours had my incorrect name using my middle name). The room assigned to us was locked, so we waited the 20 minutes, which turned into two HOURS until some helpful person called the owner for us, who told us that the room we were meant to be in was not the one on the paper.
