"It was spotlessly clean and brand new, but freezing cold. The room was really cold; there was an issue with the heating system and the radiators were not heating up properly. The room never warmed up. Apart from that, it was a very nice facility."

"We did not take advantage of the breakfast. We left the location. It was quiet away from all the business. Great shopping. Just ride around the block about a 7 to 8 minute walk to the old town. The rooms were quirky but big and spacious. We had big windows we could open for ventilation. AC does not seem to work as was our experience at every hotel throughout Germany. I would recommend this place."

"Like the other Welcome Hotel in Bamberg the buffet breakfast is understanding with a great range of German breads and rolls. cheese, cold meats, hot bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs, cereals including Birckenmüsli etc etc. The breakfast room faces directly onto the river Regnitz which is very picturesque. "Underground parking beneath the hotel was super convenient and they allowed us to leave the car past checkout so we didn’t have to hurry to get back from a last tour of the old city!
