"This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. "Breakfast was the main highlight of this stay! I have stayed in more than 20 different hotels across Japan and this has by far been the best, in terms of quality, value, and selection. The location is also excellent, located right opposite the JR Kyoto Station, and there are convenience stores nearby if you need them at night. The free lounge coffee, tea and drinks are also welcomed. Highly recommend this place!"

"Good hotel with convenient proximity to the city center and a giant Aeon Mall. We were able to find lots of good food and shopping options within walking distance. Good breakfast with a large variety of both delicious and delicate Japanese and Western options. It’s also strategically located with access to public transportation for day trips to popular destinations around Kyoto.
