"The facilites are extremely outdated and you are met with a cigarette smell upon entry into the facility. I saw a live roach on the floor I was booked for. the carpet in my room was torn, the shower needed caulking and there was mold on walls. the cigarette smell permeated into my room as well. I was just generally uncomfortable for a $300 2 night stay. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and were the only upside to my stay."

It’s located near the airport, eateries of all kinds (Olive Garden is just a few steps away from the hotel.), shopping centers, and I-64 (towards Richmond and Virginia Beach, either direction). It was quiet, yet close enough to walk to town! I loved the colonial decor and atmosphere of my stay and would love to visit again some day!"

"We were reluctant to make reservations because of the very few reviews. We are sure glad we did. It is newly renovated and has only been open a few days. Room was clean and large. Many shops nearby. Very friendly staff. And the price was about half that of other hotels nearby. Can’t recommend it highly enough."

"My overall experience was very good. My room was very clean. The entire staff was outstanding. There was plenty of parking. The only thing I would change would be to provide a better matress. I had a king size bed with an 6-inch pillow top mattress that had a Matress topper. Even with this added cushioning, the matress showed its age with some sagginess in the middle."
