"Good points: Clean room Great location Great Facilities, kitchenette with equipped with fridge, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, crockery, pans and utensils Comfortable bed Not so good points: Unfortunately was rather noisy as faces onto to a reasonably busy road. Did not receive any check in information until the morning of the stay, despite messaging a couple of weeks before and it was difficult to find the correct contact info for the place. "

"Parking on site was an added bonus- although to qualify for the 24-hour hotel £20 guest rate you need to go into reception. I spent 10 minutes trying to pay parking online and via the app, before going in. Then it was simple. Room was clean and very functional. Only confusion was the lighting. Managed to switch it all off at night but couldnt get any response from the electric keypads in the morning. Used my phonelight in bathroom. Breakfast very good value for £10! "The Brownswood is lovely and I keep returning year after year. It feels like staying with family. Pub is a great time. Quick access on bus network or plenty of bikes around make commuting to central easy."

"Booked a ‘deluxe room’ and was given a basement room with no windows. So pretty sure I didn’t get that a paid for, either that or the standard rooms are somehow worse?! Didn’t bother asking reception as I’d been traveling all day/overnight so couldn’t be bothered to move if that was an option. Definitely something to be cautious of when bookings and checking in"

"Very clean, recently refurbished rooms and an easy self-check in process. Very comfortable beds, really quiet rooms at the back of the property, a fridge and safe in the room, and an excellent TV with loads of streaming options. The only slight drawbacks were a strange weed-like smell which lingered in the corridor just outside my room during my stay, and my colleague who stayed two floors up was disturbed on both nights by the 'passionate' noise of the guests in the next room..! Very easy...

"Local to Camden Town and market . Supermarkets and cafes and bars very close by . The actual apartment is clean and comfortable with all everything you may require . The actual building from the outside doesn’t look desirable and some properties inside again give the impression the apartment would be run down but once past the front door it is nice . A little bit of decor could do with touching up and blinds could do with updating . We had a lovely stay and this was cheaper than holiday inn and...

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Check in was smooth and the room was lovely. Considering this was during Arsenal parade weekend where the hotel was full to capacity the service was excellent. We will definitely return on future visits to London."
