"Hands down my favorite hotel during my trip. On the day of my check-in, I made dinner reservations and unfortunately I ran into car trouble so I was going to miss dinner hours by 20 minutes. Immediately when I got to check in, they offered to make me a plate even though the kitchen was closed. 10/10 hotel! I’ll be visiting again"

"I couldn’t fault the place at all. Emma and Graham are the most attentive hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Welcoming, attentive and friendly. Their home is immaculate. Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean. Ample parking in site. I was in Room 2 which faces the road but traffic is so sporadic, noise is definitely not an issue. "There was a glitch with check in but the owner when contacted was on scene promptly and the issue was resolved quickly. Property is very convenient for restaurants and although the bathroom is not ensuite it is very clean and modern. "

"it’s a nice boutique hotel but the rooms are cozy and not too bad. Also, the hotel is very close to the airport but middle of nowhere. If you have to take a taxi service to Bowmore, which is the town center, for meals, It will cost 40 poundsround-trip. The hotel has a restaurant on site but sort of limited menu if you have any kind of meal restrictions or limitations. It is also close to a beach and has a golf course. The beach is beautiful and such a nice walk from the hotel."

"This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem."

The hotel is also very close to the ferry terminal — only about a 10-minute drive, which was very convenient."

The rooms were huge, warm & very comfortable.
