"Almare is the definition of luxury!!! This was one of the best experiences we've ever had at an all inclusive resort. First, we need to acknowledge how amazing the staff was. The service was incredible throughout our entire stay and they were so attentive. Every single day we looked forward to seeing Karen, Alejandro, Claudia (and another staff member whos name started with an E but I can't remember it!!) at the beach beds/beach bar. They were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and we can't wait to go back and see them. Noe and Emiliano were also so helpful with every question we had and always did their best to find solutions quickly. The amenities are top tier, loved the spa. Also loved the food offerings at the rooftop restaurant Seasalt. Definitely looking forward to our return as this ticked all of our boxes. "

"A gorgeous property and truly magical. I was torn between this and Suenos to go to Kin Ha, which is right next door. This was a few dollars less and it was so perfect. It's a gorgeous property with sweeping views. Hector at the front desk and Luis by the pool provided excellent service. I went to Kin Ha while I waited to check in. This is a place that shouldn't be missed! However, I am so glad I went with the day pass and then stayed here. It was so much quieter at Joya. I had the Jr. Suite with an incredible ocean view. One draw back is the Yachts that play loud music and party. But there is a reason for that - its because the snorkeling is the absolute best right in front of this property. Bring you water shoes and its actually the best swim in the area. I know because I used my water shoes to walk on seaweed and swim all the way to Loretta's. LOL. It's not a sandy beach but it is the BEST swim area. Once you get there, you will understand. I actually enjoyed sitting and reading by the pool and walking up and down to the ocean - drinking margaritas from the pool bar. I had planned to go to another beach club, but the environment was too nice at Joya! The kitchen was delicious for breakfast in the morning. I would definitely love to come back. Thanks! "
