Breakfast needed to be improved

We stayed at Somerset many times in the past few years. Because of covid-19, no buffet breakfast provided. Breakfast delivered to our room. Not tasty, too little food.

Please improve breakfast

Stayed at Somerset many times. This time was 2 bedroom executive unit. Huge and comfortable. The only negative point was breakfast -- limited choices, tasteless.

Poor breakfast. Sticky floor

As usual, breakfast choices were limited. Bedroom floor was sticky. It seemed that it was not mopped for a long time. Check in time was 3pm, but I waited till 3:40pm to get my room. No apology from the front desk staff. There were some broken pieces at the swimming pool. Please fix the pool asap. Dangerous.

We stayed at their 2 bedroom apartment. It was spacious and well-furnished. Staff was friendly too. A couple of things could have been better. 1. Master bedroom toilet was funky smelling; & 2. The dryer in the room was faulty. But the reception was really nice to gift us complimentary tokens for the launderette.

Excellent at its best!

I am happy with all. Only that the 2 bedroom apartment, there is one room with twin bed. If Somerset can change to super single bed it would be good as the twin bed is quite small for big size body. Overall, great place for apartment. Been here almost since 4/5 years back. Great to be back.

Disappointed but you get what you pay for

Housekeeping was sub-par as used towels were not folded (they were left hanging behind the door as is) and toilet bowl was not cleaned daily as it reeked. You know it’s bad when it seems housekeeping hasn’t been in when coming back to the room in the evening. The only thing well done was that the bed was made. Asked for laundry collection in the night and was told to call back the next morning before 9am. I had to insist on someone collecting it and compromised to have it hung outside the door so housekeeping can come by anytime. There were ants in the bathroom as well and the sofa stank. Despite the negative experience, the room was very spacious and check in was fast.

👍 (1) Really fast check-in service (2) Helpful and courteous (3) Quiet and quality sleep 👎 (4) Really far from Johor Bahru, unless you are planning to spend all your time in Legoland or its surrounding (5) A really empty hotel (6) Really boring decor, does not feel home at all (7) Only 2 towels were provided inside a room, no hand towel nor kitchen towel to wipe the plates, utensils etc once washed (8) Overall hygiene requires serious improvement ~ car park, lobby, apartment (9) Really bad spacing and layout ~ tiny bathroom with no way you could brush your teeth without having the door fully shut. Have the similar experience with Citadine

Everything is perfect for me in this service apartment except for the car noise level that the room facing the road of which the hotel management can’t control. There seems to have an illegal car racing at night and it’s in the middle of the night. Can hear cars’ engine roaring which made me woke up every time the cars rave.
