We are from the U.S. and most of the hotels we stayed in during this Europe trip had hard beds, but Hotel Montecarlo had the most comfortable bed. "Absolutely lovely place, a hidden gem! Stayed here with a friend for 4 days and we loved it! Its close to Lido beach, to vaparetto water taxi station, lots of shops and cafes, grocery stores and more. All personnel at the hotel were nice and helpful, our room was clean without any issues. I would come back! And yes, their breakfast was good too- variety to choose from. "

"We stayed at Hotel Canal Grande for 4 nights. The front desk staff was kind and accommodating. We arrived at 1 am in the morning and wanted to have a cocktail after a long day of travel. Even though the bar closed at 11 pm, the front desk clerk was kind enough to open the bar for us for as long as we wanted.
