"The reason why I rated Hampton Inn, sort of low is due to the pool was not operational. I specifically rented a room at this hotel because of the pool and it was my daughter‘s 18th birthday. "My room was so lovely, with a comfortable bed, a nice view of the city, very clean, and quiet. It's a great location for exploring the city - walkable to good restaurants (I loved La Bola), the GeVa Theater, Planetarium, and many good coffee shops (Albunn was fantastic). This hotel just has so much more character than a chain. Highly recommend! "

"Our stay at S31 was great. The building is incredible and the rooms are modernized, but still have the original woodwork. The Village gate is close with great restaurants and boutique shops. The neighborhood is full of history and a great place to take a late night walk. Although there is not currently a dining area at the property, they have great snack options for enjoying in the room and great local wines. "Walls were paper thin. Took was cramped. Noisy neighbors, could hear everything including pigeons cooing. Only one exta pillow available. What a dive! Lol"

"Kinda ghetto, loud slamming doors, major road noise from the main road all hours of the nights. Food near by is decent, extremely strong smell of cologne or what ever it is they use to mask smells or clean. Hot water was a little interesting. Took forever to heat up then got cold. Faucet in bathroom water was brown. Not sure what that was about but Hey for 50$ a night what do you expect. "

"I thought it was nice that they gave courtesy snacks like yogurt, fruit, cereal but the breakfast was not great. They had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, pancakes, but everything was cold. "

"It was right off the highway. Well lit and felt safe. Breakfast was fresh and had a good options There were some very loud guests one night but the front desk told them to quiet down which worked. The swimming pool was somewhat small and cloudy The gym was very basic treadmills bike machine free weights"

"The cleanliness of this hotel was very questionable. The smell in the hallway was very mildew & the room we had smelled like cigarettes our whole stay , even the towels smelled. The bed had a huge deep dent in it & the blow drier was sticky. Nothing was clean about this place "
