"We liked that the hotel is literally on the beach. Take some stairs down and you’re there. We liked the corn hole and fire pits with chairs right outside the rooms. We didn’t like how the pool was under renovation but we weren’t told before booking. The website said it til June 1, but they were still renovating so we heard loud drill noises while in our room. "

"They practice good upkeep at this establishment. The rooms are also consistently clean when we stay here. Perhaps we’ve simply gotten lucky each stay, but we’ve not experienced issues with noisy neighbors, even when the facility is fairly full. The aforementioned positives, combined with the fairly reasonable rate make this my go-to place in Pacific Grove. "

"Close to the beach we had a great suite with fireplace and kitchenette for this weekend. The only problem was the keys kept stopped working so we had to get them replaced but it was a nice weekend. Well equipped. A tissue box and another roll of paper towels would be great. "

"The property is very nice, parking was plentiful. It’s an older house that has been well maintained. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Check in is via key code and there was no issue. I can’t really give more than four stars regarding staff and service as I had no physical experience with any of the staff. We would stay here again "

"Great little inn. We were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a king sized fireplace room. Lots of space and very comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is very basic but nice to be able to grab a quick something to go. Good location away from the craziness of Monterey but with easy access to walking and biking trails that run along the seaside right to the aquarium and cannery row. "
