"The property and staff of Hotel du Vieux were outstanding!!!! The restaurant right next to it (Hortus) was amazing. Everything was within a 10 min walk…shopping, restaurants. Plus, the history and old structures of Old Quebec were incredible. I would recommend this sweet boutique hotel to everyone:) "

"Breakfast was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom was a bit small but room was quite comfortable. Excellent location for exploring Old Town Quebec City. "

"The place was lovely and perfect for our needs. It’s close to the Old City gate on Rue St Jean, so everything in Old Quebec was walking distance, and we were also able to easily venture outside the Old City on foot to other restaurants, a jazz bar, the Grand Theatre to see the orchestra, etc. The apartment itself had good heating and cooling (we had a couple hot days, and a couple of nights that got chilly, so had the opportunity to use both a/c and heat). "Great little hotel in the heart of Quebec City. Easy walking to anywhere. Lots of wonderful restaurants close by. Breakfast was nice and light, but tasty. Great coffee. Very nice that they had a water station to refill reusable water bottles. Room was small but fine for a short stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"There needs to be more hooks and shelves for convenience when traveling (hanging coats, totes), shower stall had nowhere to put toiletries. The toiletry dispensers provided also stuck a lot and didn’t work very well. Other than that everything else was great. "

"The property is conveniently located: walkable to Old Quebec if you can handle the uphill & downhill; less than 10 mins drive; close to hwy; grocery and eateries nearby; relatively safe despite of some harmless homeless folks few blocks away from the property. All in all, it's a good place to stay."

"This property was beyond our expectations! It was right in the heart of history, art, culture and more! Easy walk to coffee, restaurants, artisan shops and a lovely walk (climb) to the historic Frontenac. The property is full of history and character but still offers all the modern amenities. Kitchen although we discuss it - was fully stocked if you choose to use. Bed was comfy and the large windows made the suite bright. Highly recommend! "
