"This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. "The apartment was truly amazing, from the minute you enter the main door, there is a wonderful fragrance. Upon entering the apartment, the deco was ver tasteful and the technology with electric blinds and a mirrored tv were amazing. "The room was lovely with a large comfortable bed and ample space in the bedroom and bathroom, plus ample free parking. This is a dog friendly hotel and there seemed to be lots of guests with their dogs, as well as oursleves. The hotel is set in a lovely village with lots of green space easily accessable from the rooms to take the dog out for toilet breaks and beautiful countryside walks. The staff satisfied our request with a baby high chair (a travel cot was also possible but we did not need it). The only issue for us was the shower which was not very powerful."
