The stay at Ocean Bliss was excellent. The property manager responds promptly. This was my second time staying there. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment style location with a kitchen.

Magical stay

Spent 10 nights at Ocean Bliss apartments, I cannot praise the facilities & stay enough, amazing place friendly staff great people, the apartments are a little bit secluded away from society in which the nearest main supermarket is 5k away placed in Oistins, they is a nice little surf bar 15 mins walk away with live music & great food highly recommended, there is transportation buses that run to Bridgetown for 3.5 Barbados dollars, if you like lively hustle bustle bars / restaurants it’s not for you, if you enjoy chill reading, surfing, kiteboarding, beach chill time this you place, thanks for wonderful stay

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Ocean Bliss Apartments, booked through your platform. I initially booked the accommodation in British Pounds, but after confirming the booking, the owner requested an upfront payment. I paid as instructed and have the receipt. Upon checkout, I was surprised to find the amount recalculated in US Dollars and an additional charge under a different business name. This inconsistency in pricing is concerning. Moreover, my data protection rights were violated when the owner shared my personal details with the manager without my consent, leading to an unexpected charge. My stay was also disappointing. The owner, Suzanne, was rude, and staff, particularly Cleopatra, were unprofessional. I was told not to use the TV and to whisper when speaking, and only two guests were allowed to visit which felt overly restrictive. Despite paying for a cleaning service, I had to clean my room, and it was changed once during my three-week stay. Given these issues, I will not be returning to Ocean Bliss Apartments and would not recommend it.

We could not get directions from the owner so we drove around a while and asked around. It is about 14 minutes from the airport but as you drive closer is seems like a run down area. The apartment itself is not what you would expect since the pictures looks lovely and in person it’s disappointing. The apartment was not cleaned before we arrived. I tried to walk to the beach but it isn’t accessible for ocean bliss. There are homes in front of the apartments and so you can’t get through. The window in the bedroom does not close so you are awakened by noise of other guest and the landscaper seems to start early with a loud leaf blower. There is 1 pot and one pan so cooking doesn’t become a challenge. We asked for fresh towels the first time we got towels but when we needed fresh towels we were told they didn’t see the message and we never got towels. The owner was only attentive when issues were brought to her attention. Like the filthy toilet, faucets and shower. It’s very important to make sure you see the location of ocean bliss.

The property manager, Jen, was awesome. Extremely accommodating. The property was spacious and the amenities prefectly suited our needs. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone, particularily families. Plus it is right next to the beach!!!!

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Ocean Bliss. Great ocean views, epic sunrise from the balcony and rooftop, the owner Jen was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed (including additional days waiting for test results), rooms were clean and well equipped. Great place to spend days in isolation. Highly recommend!

I arrived on Nov 29th and the property manager was there to greet us I received a full orientation as well as local shops and transportation etc. I absolutely loved my view waking to that was amazing loved that it was very self contained cups, plates, pots etc. There was a smart tv which was great was able to watch Netflix. The apartment is accessible to the bus but there is an area which is not well lit which makes late nights a little scary if your commuting by bus. In terms of housekeeping that is every other day that consisted of emptying of the garbages, towel changes, bed making and thats about it we were there 10 days and it was never swept or mopped i watched the dust bunnies accumulate, there was a broom available but why I'm on vacation. The grass was cut one of the days i was there and once he was finished the porch and chairs were covered in grass and left i had to go and sweep it just though it would be nice for it to have been swept. I was thankful to have not seen 1 insect at all so that tells me the place is relatively clean!

Let me tell y’all!! I was nervous about the location of this house when I got there first of y’all for ocean bliss security is key! Before you get into the building there is a main door that’s always locked which yu will have the keys to then you get to to your apartment door! So basically it’s like an mini apartment complex !! The space you get for the price is crazy!! The place is very big very clean and very quiet!! You have all the kitchen appliance and a great view of the sea !! I will recommend this place 100% but I’ll also be honest although there is a bus stop not to far I’d recommend you get a car!! But other than that I’m coming back to ocean bliss!!

The property was very clean. The view to the ocean was stunning. It was very spacious. The balcony with the hammock was terrific. Communicating with them was great and they kept in touch with us. The access to the beach house was such a nice touch. We highly recommend this place. aC and the internet worked well.

We left after a day because it was too small, not clean, the balcony was caged, not kid-friendly - we really didn´t expect that and were dissapointed. No help or reaction from the owner, either. Maybe good for young people who go out to party a lot and don´t care much about their accommodation. Sorry...

The property is ten to 15 minutes away from the airport and it is overlooking the ocean. I like the cleanliness of the property. I like that the property had everything you could possibly ask for in an apartment. It was close to Silver Sand beach but I only found it out the day I was leaving. There was no directives where the beach was and how to get there.The cleaning lady was very amiable and extended a warm reception. The television is very, very outdated as one would say its from the stone age. Transpprtation to Bridgetown is accessible by walking five minutes up from the apartment. Number 11 mini van. The apartment is not too far from one of their nightlife especially Friday and Saturday night, beach, vendors and lunch . The area is called Oistins. It's a quiet place and if you stay out late, it's best to take a reputable taxi. Do not take the mini van late at night because the area is dark and lonely.

Excellent view from the apartment. The apartment i was in was a bit dark so had doors open during the day when I was there. The owner Keith was very accommodating and the lady who looks after the rooms, Lorna, is lovely. This was my first time staying on the south coaSt. Surf school was at the end of the road.....ideal for teenagers. I would prefer something more central but would recommend the apartments

Southern Barbados Apartment

The apartment was conveniently located from the airport and was a nice space to stay in. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. The view of the ocean was a bit limited as another building exists in front of the complex. There is no swimming beach nearby however, it is a good place to watch kite boarders. The kitchen pans were a bit limited. Public transportation is available by walking a short distance. Places to eat in this area are very limited and there are no decent size stores. The property and the apartment itself are well maintained and clean. Excellent value for the cost.

Perfect Experience.

Our stay in Barbados was 6 nights. Keith picked us up from the airport, took us for something to eat, showed us around the island so we knew where to go the next day AND took us to the grocery store. The place is in a great location. 5 minutes to the local kite surfing shop, right on the bus route. The number 11 goes all the way into B-Town. Past Miami Beach, Accra, St.Lawrence Gap and only cost 4 BBD. Keith was amazing, he checked in on us, took us back to the airport for our flight. I will for sure be back.

Ocean Bliss Apartments - My Experience

Honestly Speaking, I chose this place because of the other reviews that seemed to indicate it was a nice place. The owner Keith was pleasant as a person nothing against him, however when I arrived I had booked air condition unit but there was no air condition and the place wasn't comfortable either. There was also no internet though in the advert it was said to be there. The following morning, Keith came to start the internet it was very unstable (wifi signal) to the point it wasn't worth trying it. The crazy part once I arrived there (December 16th) and my wife wasn't able to travel due to emergencies the hotel refused to accommodate change of plans. we booked the place for 21 days but my wife she wasn't able to travel we called Expedia and informed them that We will like to change our plans/travels for another time. Expedia reached out to the hotel for some refund but these guys refused to refund even half of the cost we paid in full upfront. Expedia felt bad for us but the money was already been transferred to the Ocean Bliss owners. when II tried to call Keith he kept telling me that I should call his wife or something, they just kept taking me around and they totally didn't want to make any deal even half of the cost. I have never see such "robbery" before, the airlines at least gave us some of our cost back but this apartment owners didn't want to hear anything. Book them at your own Risk.
