"Wonderful experience. Free hot breakfasts were welcomed. Yes hour was nice. Right by Galena and what e we wanted to see. Overall great experience."

"The key kept not working several guests had the same people experienced the same thing. Room was dirty but the shuttle driver was kind."

"The hotel is clean and the staff are welcoming. This is a nice hotel for a one night stay in Galena. While the property isn't fancy, it is nice. This property can rival any of the other chain hotels in Galena, if they offer the better rate."

"They started laying carpet and had blocked the doorway. They were so helpful and very concerned about my safety. (I use a cane). They helped me get the luggage cart from the entry, over the blocked doorways and back out to the lobby after I had loaded it. The desk manager helped me take the cart akk the way to my car and helped me Unload it. He definitely went beyond with kindness. I am already booked in for my return trip home. Excellent halfway point between my friends home and mine."

"Property was really quiet at night for being almost at full capacity. Room was very clean. Parking lot is small and can get full, but I think there is other parking close by. Easy access to road to downtown. Friendly staff."

"The staff was friendly, the room is somewhat antiquated (especially the bathroom and sink area), the breakfast was almost non existent the only hot choice was waffles."

"Property was dated but okay consideting the location. Nice, but unhelpful staff. Had to ask 4 times to activate our second key card, even then the staff didn't take enough interest to follow me to the room to make sure it worked. Light in the bathroom went out multiple times, which was doubly inconvenient given that the switch was on the outside wall. Yes, left totally in the dark in the bsthroom with no switch! Didn't ask the staff to check on it considering their prior disinterest. Breakfast...

"Very nice hotel that we had stayed at a number of years ago. Clean rooms with a classy vibe. Could use a little touching up with some painting here & there. The one issue we had was that the thermostat did not work per the instructions on said thermostat."

"Very clean, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. However, if you are a light sleeper the hotel is right next to train tracks and multiple trains went by throughout the night with loud horns and rumbling. I did not sleep well at all."

"Everything was really good. I want to give a shoutout to Alaina who checked us in June 6 and also checked us out June 7. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and offered to help us if we had any questions or needed anything at all. She made us feel appreciated. Anyone who was a worker said hello with a smile as they saw us. Very nice staff at this property "
