"The staff were jus excellent and truly helpful to me an my daughter, which made our stay even better. The 2nd shift lady was extremely kind not to mention helpful. I mean starting feom my check in the boss an his staffs customer service was top notch!!! Ill be staying again. Truly appreciated!!!"

"The room was totally out of towels. Busy place. The staff was kind despite stretched! The pool was over crowded and no towels. No smoking policy yet the halls were strong with the smell of marijuanna! So strong it came into our room at night. Stoney Creek has changed from a few years back. We’ve always liked it by River. "

"As always, the hotel is the place to stay. I wish they offered an on-site breakfast area like most hotels of this caliber do. There is a shuttle to the boat for Tin Lizard for a good meal and a steak place. The deli is a quick snack place. There is a refrigerator in rooms which is always good."

"The door handle on the room didn't work properly and the door stuck. The mini refrigerator didn't work. It didn't get cold, and it smelled like a dead fish. It made the room reek. The breakfast was ridiculous. They didn't even have butter for toast or the waffles. The coffee machine was impossible to find for breakfast. The bathtub drain worked incredibly slowly. I showered and by the time I was done I was standing in six inches of water. Additionally, during our stay there was a tornado watch for several hours after we arrived. And then a tornado warning and the sirens were going off. There were no emergency instructions for tornadoes, and no notification from the staff. We sat in the bathroom. I chose a room with two queens. Those beds were full size, not queen. I sleep in a queen bed and there is enough room for two people. The beds in the room were definitely NOT queen size. Don't advertise that if it isn't true. The flooring was coming up in the bathroom. On top of the nasty fish smell the room reeked of marijuana. I understand it's legal, that isn't my problem. My issue is that my clothes and hair smelled of it, despite the fact that I don't partake. So all of my clothes now have to be washed thoroughly to get rid of the smell. I am grateful I had a room to sleep in during my trip, but for the price I paid, and the $50.00 deposit that ai didn't get back despite leaving the room cleaner than I found it, it was not even close to worth it."
