We arrived late into the evening and picked up two pizza's and some Peroni beers assuming we could eat in the garden area or the lobby seating area (plenty of it and very private), but the hotel rules do not allow. Its likely because it has bar service, but we ate in the hotel room so not a problem. The room was adequate, smaller than what we experienced in the other big cities like Rome and Florence, but it did...

"Serena was a brilliant host - friendly and extremely helpful. We had a slight problem with a noisy fridge but which she resolved quickly. The hotel is located on the 2nd floor in an old lovely, characterful property. There is a small lift which is useful for taking up luggage. The room was spacious and cleaned regularly by helpful staff. Breakfast is brought to your room from a bar downstairs and consists of a choice of hot drink, cold drink and a savoury or sweet snack.
