"Fantastic location at the bottom of La Rambla. We were in the 2 bedroom penthouse apartment that was very large. The wrap around balcony was HUGE! Great place to have wine and watch the sunset. Great view of the Mediterranean and the mountains, including a great view of La Sagrada Família. Very comfortable, and includes a washer for clothing, no dryer though. We hung our clothes on the balcony to dry. The only complaint I would have is that there were a LOT of flies in the bathrooms. ...

Breakfast that we had two Mornings was also excellent freshly made to order with buffet of fresh fruit, pastries and coffee , cappuccino, lattes as options. "An excellent occasion in the heart of the old town. At night it could be a bit noisy if you have a room overlooking the square. However, the windows are double glazed and enhanced the experience rather than being a problem."

"I stayed here for the F1 race in Barcelona and the hotel was conveniently located to both the city sites and shops and near local transportation. It was quiet at night for being in the Gothic quarter, very clean, great air conditioning to come back to after very hot days, friendly staff and well priced. Would definitely recommend and stay again!"

"It's a beautiful hotel in a great location for walking everywhere in the Gothic Quarter. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The terrace on top is very nice and quite comfortable in the evenings. The breakfast set up is excellent. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to get an iron for guests and make sure that the TV's work properly. Our remote did't work right and was not fixed or replaced. "Our room and hotel were immaculate. All front desk staff and our housekeeper were excellent. We were well taken care of by Jasmine and Anne who insured a cab came to the property to pick us up for our early train. Upon arrival Sherry took us under her wing and made great suggestions for dining out. This was immensely helpful. We stayed in Hamsa House and found the community in the lobby of Hotel California with staff and guest for welcoming."
