"The staff was super nice when we came into the building - the room was super unique, we loved that they were eco-friendly and sourced from local vendors. Dinner was really good, we had the tacos with nachos and fish and chips. Loved that they had different food stations to choose from. Breakfast was okay, you could make a sandwich, they had juice and drip coffee. Would recommend staying if you’re driving through the town."

Excellent parking, very easy to find and in a nice quiet location with some great scenery and lots to see close by. Hot tubs are a bonus and are a perfect place to relax in the evening."

"The apartment was very cozy and a nice place to rest after an overnight flight (the comfortable mattress and black-out curtains were appreciated!) Very comfortable washroom and shower. It even had laundry facilities! Parking was easy. Staff at the restaurant below helped with check-in process. We took our morning walk in the nearby Geothermal park which has a geyser. This is probably a perfect location to spend the night if you are looking for an early morning start to see the Golden Circle -...

"Great location. Small rooms. No place for suitcases. Hard flooring and impractical light beige carpet. Breakfast adequate but not great. Dining area overlooks ocean, so nice. Lots of ‘adjustment’ issues (hotel is new) so things may be fixed in the future. Area is lovely. Highly recommend The Red House for dinner in neighboring town of Eyrarbakki, a quaint fishing village a 10 minute drive away. 🙏"
