"The hotel is in a nice rural landscape of Iceland with a hiking opportunity nearby (map on the reception desk). However some dogs of the nearby farmers do not like hikers, wehn you are walking on the street in front of the hotel. The rooms have a good size. Bathroom amenities are from Iceland, produced by Soley. The hotel features a very good restaurant with good views which is worth a visit by itself. A good breakfast is also served in the restaurant. Weirdly, you have to ask for spoons."

"Lovely room beautifully decorated and comfortable. Wonderful view over the fjord and mountains. Comfortable armchair to relax in. Nice kitchenette to make toast for breakfast. Only issue was that neighbours in both adjoining rooms were a bit noisy but that happens anywhere. Nice and warm given cold conditions outside. The caramel muffin in the cafe was yummy too."

"Great bargain option! Gorgeous waterfall area on the property, good breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Very peaceful area. Stayed in the camping pod, very basic but had a comfortable bed. The mini fridge in my room only could fit maybe one can of soda and it didn't seem to work, and the shower was a communal shower and make sure you bring shower shoes it did not look like it was deep cleaned in a long time, but it if you consider you are essentially camping its really not a big deal. "The house was amazing, the check-in experience was awful. The house is loosely connected to the hotel which manages the check in, but the house is actually family run. The front desk agent was friendly, but had us sit for almost an hour without an update. The restaurant refused to book us stating we weren't part of the hotel, despite the fact that the front desk disagreed. The house made up for it."

"This is a very nice large hotel that can host bus groups. Very clean and high standards. We ate dinner at another restaurant so do not know how crowded the dining room was. At breakfast, there were a lot of people but they had enough sitting as they opened up a separate room. I would stay here again. "

"Petit soucis à l'arrivée car nous n'avions pas reçu le mail avec notre numéro de chambre et le code mais après un contact avec d'autres vacanciers nous avons obtenu une réponse très rapide. Nous avions une chambre avec sdb privée, très propre. La literie était confortable et le linge de lit sentait extrêmement bon.
