"Great menu great location portable road to get there no shampoo in the cabin which would have been nice and way too dark when you arrive at night for the first time but overall a great experience especially if you want to do zip lines or some caving"

Nestled amongst the jungle and mountainous terrain is Maya Mt Lodge. There are hiking trails that head down to the river, definitely explore these. The pool is a welcome relief after a hot day of exploring nearby archaeological sites or exploring the town. You hear the birds and cicadas constantly and it feels like you are in the jungle. "I had a great time room was beautiful, plunge pool was mainly hot due to the sun felt like a hot tub which im not complaining about. The misuse was amazing I highly recommend getting a massage from her a great experience. Only thing I'd give 2 stars was the food it was alight, definitely could have been better. The staff was always there when I needed them very attentive to every need."

"The property was in the heart of town, walking distance to anything and everything. Extremely convenient in that regard. The rooms and pool facilities were very, very clean. It’s a dated property that’s seen some upgrades, that’s the best way I can describe it. The A/C works like a damn, the beds and pillows are alright, and there’s free water to fill your bottles conveniently on every floor. The wifi is spotty at best. Overall satisfied with our stay."

"The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. "
