"It is old conex building. It would be nice to have small coffee pot and fridge in room. Stairs to breakfast are many so difficult to do but desk will go and get breakfast or drink for you. Perfer to do my own though"

"Had difficulty in the beginning. Expedia confirmed my stay but the hotel didn't get the information. The manager did her best to find it, and we finally got it resolved. Front desk staff very nice when checking in. We came with dogs, only $25 per dog was great. room 142 is right next to door to outside, huge plus. "This place is a gem! I took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez and got in late. The host was amazing at communicating with me and making arrangements for me getting in late. When I got there, he had a warm meal waiting for me (it was delicious!). The place was clean, bed was comfortable, I felt safe as a solo traveler, host had an amazing breakfast as well as a ton of local tips and suggestions. This far exceeded my expectations! "I stayed in the yurt and i I’m very satisfied with it , the only thing is the floor going inside the room is very slippery even when i I’m wearing my sneakers and my friend wearing hiking boots , we both almost slipped good thing we managed to hold on to the rail.
