The front desk staff was friendly, as always. The beds are comfortable. The hotel has always been quiet to allow for rest when I'm there. The issue is the cleanliness of the rooms. When I entered my room, I immediately noticed the sticky floors as I walked across them. Upon entering the bathroom, there were noticeable stains/spots on the floor and toilet. There was hair in the shower from previous guests, I assume. Even the toilet paper had gotten moisture from somewhere as one end of it was hard like it was wet then dried out. The room really felt as if the sheets and towels had been swapped out from the previous guest and that's it. I don't usually make a fuss because I sanitize the room to my liking before settling in but this was beyond needing simple sanitization. I've stayed here several times when visiting family in Huntsville but this will be my last.

Hilton Garden Inn was an okay, what I found interesting was that when me and spouse order our food cook -to-order. We sat in front of the kitchen, and as we watch the cook serve order he LITERALLY TOUCH EVER SINGLE PIECE OF FOOD WITH HIS BARE HANDS. We watch his oily finger tips just move every single French toast, bacon, sausage; you name it. It looked so good however, we were upset we couldn’t eat or “complimentary breakfast” we payed an extra $25 on Expedia for but… ya know. However everything else and customer service was pleasant.
