"We really enjoyed our stay at the Sewanee Inn. The room was wonderful, the beds comfortable, the amenities like the shower products were top shelf, and our dining experience was lovely too. There was nothing negative to say about our stay. The staff was the most helpful we had ever encountered."

"I had high hopes for this site but was disappointed. They only appear to freshen up the room on their schedule, placard was ignored. Had to request towels a few times and all they had was crappy pool towels. Pool wasn’t maintained with sand and dirt in the bottom. Moldy caulk around the tub, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. "It was absolutely horrible and filthy. I did not feel safe there at all. The lock on the door and the dead bolt did not work. I have pictures I can import. The door frame looked like somebody forced the door open. I was not able to get any sleep due to not feeling safe. If there is anyway to get some of my money back that would be great because this room was definitely not worth the $230 I spent on the room"

"Room had stuffy, mildew odor. Went to store and bought air fresheners. Sticky residue on dresser top. Bathroom tub drained slowly when taking shower. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was just okay. nothing noteworthy. Juice machine was out of order. Only stayed one night so tolerated inconveniences."
