"It was just a very old building. The staff were great and the bar and restaurant were also very clean. The bed was not very comfortable and the water did not get very hot in the shower. We did enjoy the stay for the week we were there. "

(13-14 Feb) We stayed in Room 20 which was very small and had the constant, very loud noise of the kitchen extractor humming. On the first night it was still on at 10.45pm and we had to ask Reception to deal with it and then it was back on, waking us up at 7pm. "A lovely stay at Thorpe Guest house. Lovely area and very relaxing. The hosts are very helpful on local area amenities and our stay. Would recommend highly if staying in the area. I would book again when visiting family and friends near by."

"Nice old style place with good rooms with Nespresso coffee machines and clean towels. Comfortable bed and good free parking tucked from but closed to fast roads. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Nice atmosphere. Will go again."
