We had a last‑minute emergency and couldn’t make the trip. I even told the Expedia rep that I had paperwork to prove it, but the hotel still refused to work with me. I wasn’t asking for a refund — just to move the booking to a date in July — and they still went ahead and charged me.
Really disappointing experience from both Expedia and Hampton Inn, and honestly, I won’t be staying there again.
