Ky Dai is a fortress in front of the Citadel. Over the years this flag pole has been destroyed by Mother nature and by war. But here it stands again 37 metres high or 121 feet. We walked through the Citadel, but this was a nice spot to have a packed lunch and imagine what this place was like back in the reign of 6th Gia Long (1807). Enjoy.
I am unsure of what this beach was called but it was completely deserted and had the warmest water. There was one hut where you could get fresh food cooked by locals, such a relaxing day in Vietnam 🇻🇳

Nga done a magnificent breakfast eggs bacon fresh fruit yoghurt freshly squeezed orange juice. Rooms we're lovely and comfortable. Location was perfect for imperial city.
