"My stay at Barcelo with my family and girlfriend was very fun and relaxing. The weather was nice every single day, the water was clean and refreshing and the staff were excellent. Mario was our server for the Christmas Eve dinner and he did a wonderful job. Props to him. Only valid complaint is that our room was directly overtop of the bar, a couple nights I woke up to the sound of bass and music. The food was delicious and the resort was nice and tidy. I would definitely recommend staying at Barcelo! Que tengas un buen año Nuevo "

"This place gets better every year. The beaches are excellent, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the food is very good (exception: the Mexican restaurant was mediocre). The only other issue is the long distance from the rooms to other facilities. But walking is good for you and shuttles are available if you want to use them."
