"Overall I was very pleased with the stay. The room/villa was very clean as was the entire property. The property and amenities were excellent. It was a mixed bag with the staff. The cleaning staff were very friendly and always very helpful, they were 5*. The front desk attendants were friendly and helpful but commonly in the back and not at the counter, especially at night. The valet at the shore house was fantastic, the valet at the main hotel were rude on the two occasions I had to use them...

"What size of the property was a great location for Coronado and San Diego. The location was in a walkable area to restaurants, shopping, hotel, del, and the beach. The property was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was sufficient. The staff was very helpful and easy to interact with. The rooms were clean. It was nice to have a different experience than just a hotel, especially in a small quaint area like Coronado. I would definitely stay there again."

"What a posh little retreat the Bower is! For a romantic weekend or business stay, this is the perfect spot. The coffee/tea service in the morning was my favorite. I can’t wait to stay again."

"Well I stayed for a week the hot tub NEVER worked. My room was next to an alley so it was not quite. The pull out couch was broke. So it just hurt the back. Overall id say find something else."

"Our go to place to stay! Exceptional location away from the more touristy side of the island. But still a short drive to Coronado beach or Silver Strand beach if you like a little more privacy. Short walk to the bay. Rooms always prepared nicely. Thank you for the hard boiled eggs option. Yes please! Always has a great spread for breakfast. B/W Coronado is our main stay!"

"Friendly helpful staff, fast service, clean rooms, good amenities and an outdoor pool. Also the Inn is only a couple blocks from the waterfront which has boutique stores, good to great restaurants, ferry service (USS Midway/downtown) and waterski rentals."

"Stayed at two other California hostels in the past couple of years and this one was by far the best. Very private double bed, great bathroom facilities, and overall just a really great experience. My only complaint would be that the kitchen area is small. Hard for more than one person to move around in there."
