"My Wife and I had a great Stay and Everything was easy going from Booking to allowing our Pets to come and stay as well. Also Nena who is the Caretaker/House keeper was extremely helpful and very Friendly. We did not get a Chance to say Thank you due to us leaving so Early and will also be mailing a Thank you card with Appreciation tip for all her help. We love visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. We will definitely be booking a stay next year when we come back to Visit. We are from The Western slope of Colorado so the Trip to Grand Lake was not long! Thank you again for a great place to stay and Friendly service. "

"Bed was hard. But overall we really liked the place and the super friendly staff! Love that the bar, restaurant, check in are one location. It creates a fun community. Food was okay, nothing exciting. Excellent location in regards to the downtown of Winter Park. "

"This lodge, built in 1920, has a beautiful main lodge with a restaurant, bar, and gift shop. It is grand like a mountain lodge should be. There are several cabins to stay in, and they come in all sizes. It looks over two beautiful lakes. The staff is wonderful. They were all polite and professional. I look forward to staying there again."

"For a little old motel, I didn’t expect much. But the room was really nice inside. It seemed to have been recently renovated. And it was VERY clean! "

"This property is a mixed bag. First, it was VERY clean and the guys at the front desk were pleasant. The location at the top end of the main drag puts it in easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. This is a very basic room, painted off white, no decorations except the shower curtain and a couple of mirrors. The only furniture in the room, other than the beds had three drawers, one of which was falling out of the unit, and room for a smaller TV (the TV in the room was too big to fit inside, so it sat on top). There is no closet, but rather a small shelf set in the corner with a clothes rod, which would have been sufficient for our three night stay, but one of the top anchors had pulled out of the wall, leaving the shelf hanging precariously. Finally, we found the mattresses too soft and aged. My smaller wife found herself pulled into my gravity well, and we both had to stretch out kinks each morning. Assuming the damage in this room is a one-off, I would stay here again at the right price, but I don't know that I'd pay $200 per night again."
