We loved our stay at the Lodge. The amenities- the restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, outdoor area, the views, alone make it worth it. The rooms are smaller but just what you need! We will be coming back every time and staying at the Lodge
Everything about the Grand Lake Lodge was grand. The half cabin we stayed in was well decorated, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The views of the lakes from our cabin, the lodge, the pool area, the fire pit, and the pavillion were wonderful! The proximity to town was another plus. We hope to go back next year and bring our family.
We loved nearly everything about our stay at the Grand Lake Lodge. The location, the view and the cabin retro vibe were fantastic! Our only complaint… In the Sears Roebuck duplex, the shower was the smallest we have ever seen. This one made showers in Europe seem spacious.
Grand Lake Lodge is a special place, as close to an historic National Park lodge as Rocky Mountain National Park gets. The views from the main lodge of the lake are beautiful, and there’s a fun bar and lounge area to hang out, as well as a scenic front porch with rocking chairs and swings. The cabins are small but efficient, with super comfy beds/linens and unexpectedly fancy bathroom products. It seems oriented toward families (including dogs), but it’s fun for couples as well. Would definitely recommend GLL to anyone traveling to Grand Lake or the west side of the park.
The best thing about this room was the view. Other than that, I feel it was overpriced but there are not a ton of options in Grand Lake, so I went with this.
Guy that checked us in was rude.
The shower is so small in the cabin we had. It was literally broom closet sized.
Other than that, it worked. Good location to park and downtown Grand Lake which has awesome food and other cool shops. Really short hike to Adam's Falls is very close by as well.
Love the old cabin feel, the view was fantastic and the amenities were clean and operational.
We ate at the restaurant and was seated on the patio with an amazing meal. Had the Salmon, Wedge Salad and the chocolate dessert. We were pleased with all three items. Cabins are a bit small and somewhat dated, but the lodge is where its at.
The cabin was historic upscale rustic and comfortable. The restaurant was first class as was the bar. The vistas were stunning. If you intend to stay in Grand Lake to travel into Rocky Mountain National Park, this is a great choice.
The room was clean and perfectly adequate for a two night stay for a family of 3. The property itself is STUNNING and the lodge/lobby area was a wonderful place to gather and get warm in the chilly mountain weather. We loved the Deer Deck fire pit and jacuzzi with the most incredible views of the lakes.
