Hotel Dekat Hospital Dr. Max Peralta Jiménez

"Very pleasant stay. Near center of Cartago, but far enough to be a quiet place to stay. Convenient restaurant next door serving good food."

"The have a good location and very close to downtown."

"Would highly recommend this place. The owners just couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The cabins are bright, comfortable, and clean. The location is convenient to the Mirador de Ujarras and the Ruinas de Ujarras as well as multiple good restaurants. The citrus trees on the grounds attract lots of interesting birds. We saw at least 35 species from our porch. Hanging out with their adorable, super friendly Doberman was a big bonus for us."

"This is very quiet secluded location located about 1 mile in on a dirt road that really is not near anything. If you're looking for peaceful get away from everyone and everything location this is exactly right for you. The restaurant has a great view overlooking the lake but unfortunately the staff notified me that the lake is owned entirely by the electric generating company and that you're not allowed to use the lake in any way shape or form. The staff was very helpful and most of...

"Entreprise familiale qu'il faut plébisciter, les employer et le directeur sont aux petits soins pour leur clients. Ils font de leur mieux dans un cadre incroyable,, la nature et la faune mise à l'honneur avant tout. Si vous êtes dans la région, c'est le lieux ou il faut séjourner."

"The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the interior was. There are several common areas including a full kitchen and all are well maintained and well thought out. Very beautiful."

"Muy buen hotel"

Maybe mostly men stay here and avoid the brunt of it, but as a solo female traveler, this was hands down the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had.  The owner’s behavior was unhinged. He has a scary pattern of going from 0 to 100 out of nowhere, flying off the handle, and then snapping right back to a weird 0 like nothing happened. My first morning, I accidentally walked through an open door into his kitchen. He blew up and screamed in my...

"Excelente. Mucha paz. Muy hermoso lugar. Definitivamente volveríamos. "

"There is nothing to do except drink and or gamble drinks were expensive. There’s no pool or any other extra activities. There’s nothing close by. Food was expensive. I did find a 7-11 type store about 5 blocks away and a Burger King. There was a pizza spot about a block and half, really good."

"No room wifi."
