"Fantastisch personeel. De dame achter de receptie gaf ons een uitstekende uitleg hoe met de bus naar de Cathedral te gaan. Ook prima personeel in restaurant. "

"On hotels page it says food and drink, they have nothing! The address is totally wrong and way different! Whennohoned their number it was someone else’s number but she sent me the actual address and said she has had many phone calls! I ended up leaving shortly after getting there as no food and totally not what says they have on the hotels.com page!! Wasn’t even offered a refund for my second night so didn’t even stay there but paid for 2 nights"

"What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga. The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room. I spent most of my time on the deck. Was clean and well maintained. "

"This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...

From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. "This was a great choice for me and my family. We had a great stay. The staff was nice but they could have been more warm and friendly. The rooms themselves were clean and maintained well. I like that it was like an apartment (it had a fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, and plates/cups). The breakfast was good. The location was great for us because we were able to walk to the mall that's nearby and it was a short drive to downtown San Jose."

"Otoya1907 is the perfect place to stay to see historic San Jose. It is conveniently located, charming, and comfortable. The staff was friendly helpful, and welcoming. He patiently taught me the door codes and keys. The kitchen area is a bonus. The Cafe Otoya is very nice."
