We enjoyed staying at Grand hotel during our visit to Åsgårdstrand its located in the center of this small village and the room was quite good.

I was cycling camping through Norway but hit a patch of terrible weather and found the nearest hotel and that turned out to be the marvelous Grand. Idk but something about this place is so compelling and downright charming. There are so many marvelous details and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Scandinavia. I give them ten billion stars

The location of this hotel is great! Few food options open, but it was during the off season so it was expected. The hotel's food was still great though! I can imagine this hotel during the peak season is very busy - if we ever go back to visit we will make sure to stay here!

Nice hotel, the rooms could use some upgrades, but I’m guessing if had I gotten a suite, it would have been a little nicer. Pillows were really small. Staff were nice, and I will most likely stay here again in the future.

Vi var en familie på fire (to voksne og to tenåringer) som overnattet her en natt. Rommet var romslig og det var en fantastisk frokost. Stille område og nærhet til sjø og strand for et kveldsbad. Anbefales!

Blandet følelse

Fantastisk fint tettsted, gode parkeringsmulighter og fint lokalsamfunn. Det var noen ting å trekke på mtp renhold (fant en peanøtt på gulvet på rommet bl.a.) Fjernkontroll virket ikke og TV-liste virket meget utdatert. De var tomme for pommes frites rett etter åpning av restauranten, ingen kom og spurte om maten smakte eller etter påfyll. Burger var noe godt stekt og brødet veldig tørt. Samme med frokosten hvor jeg savnet litt småting. Sengene var relativt gode og rommet ellers koselig. Badet var litt udatert med defekt varmeovn og dårlig ventilasjon.
