Breakfast you were spoilt for choice absolutely amazing. Thank you Hayley for sorting the single to a double bedroom without hassle . Definitely would recommend. "

"I stayed in the Tropical Room which is a beautifully decorated room and slightly quirky with an amazing shower located behind the bed. The layout of room was ideal for me as I was travelling for work and found the kitchenette a great addition, as mentioned on other reviews there is a minibar/fridge which is stocked with soft and alcoholic drinks and chocolates. The toiletries are the White Company brand and smell wonderful. It was very thoughtful to have complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate...

"Staff and restaurant very nice, rooms are dated. We stayed in an Exec Room which we felt was on the small side, it didn't feel like an upgrade from a classic room. Tea/Coffee and water in the room is complimentary, everything else is chargable. Overall it was a very nice stay, once in the room I didnt get the

to where I was staying for my very first time. One of the owners of the Guest House named Richard who can not only whip up a scrumptious breakfast, conversing with him in learning more about the surroundings and to how he and his wife Pam came to running a gorgeous Guest House. "

"Mere Brook is a lovely place to stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self service but everything was fresh and well stocked. We travelled in for a football match and very easy to get into Liverpool. Probably better than going in via the M62. Will definitely book again and highly recommended."
