"Nice hotel and the room was nice. Wi-Fi did not work in room but did in main hotel. Was nicely positioned a short walk to beachfront. Only downside was not a lot of choice for evening meal. Mainly fish. My husband does not eat fish or meat on the bone. Therefore we ate out after first night. Could have done with more normal choices. Not partridges or game birds. "

"A warm welcome from the owners at the Dower House. What a lovely stay we had. Such a lovely hotel and grounds, with an outdoor pool too. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, with a comfortable bed,. A quiet location but only 2 miles into Lyme Regis. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough."

"We stayed for one night at the Kings Arms in Otterton. A beautiful village and a beautiful country pub. We met some friend and enjoyed an evening meal and some drinks together. Staff were very helpful, accommodating and polite. My only criticism was the shower, which had a pretty low wster flow rate. I would be hapoy to eat, drink and stay here again."

Our only issue was that the hotel is on a busy road and as the building is old it has sash windows with single glazing so road traffic noise was a problem to start with but that is something that cannot be helped.
