"Property could have been cleaner. The staff never did clean our room over a five day stay. They would tell you that if you had a Do Not Disturb sign on your door in the early mornings, they pass on cleaning your room unless requested. Just an excuse to justify not cleaning the room. Also found stuff on the floor from the previous lodgers. Hilton Gardens has been removed from my future lodging list."

"Note: Self-service check-in. Check email/Expedia for pre- check-in info, including mandatory security deposit.
Rooms ("tiny houses") are clean, spacious, well stocked for in-home cook/dine (no chopsticks though), and immersed in nature. Gardens have koi, parrots, fish, and a friendly cat. Very quiet; no events or classes hosted during our stay.
HOWEVER, management is horrible. They rent out these houses on 2 websites, don't check for accidental double booking, provided us check-in information...

"Worst stay I’ve ever had- it was spring break there were no other openings within budget.
1) No security lock on the door
2) they double booked us and SOMEONE WALKED into my room as I was getting ready.
3) front desk did NOTHING about it, apologized “my mistake”
4) odd beeping coming from the fridge, had to unplug.
5) had to move stand to unplug fridge which uncovered fire hazard- this has been reported to the Fire Marshall
6) room was disgusting
7) Expedia tried to advocate for me to get a...

"Easy parking. Chris the desk guy ( manager?) was friendly and helpful. The place is in need of sprucing up, but they are in the process of doing so and it's actually kind of a cool funky artsy place, very unique. Not your boring same old cookie cutter cheap hotel . I liked it, and Chris showed us the things he is doing to improve it and I liked his plan. In any case, the price was excellent and the bed comfy ( we were in a private room) I'd be happy to go back."
