"This must be the best motel I have stayed at. Friendly check in. Easy to have a meal at the adjoining pub with friendly staff. The king-size bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. No dust bunnies under the bed. Our stay was for overnight to make the final drive to catch the ferry so much more relaxing. A late checkout was no problem. It is off the main A1 highway so very quiet. I highly recommend a stay."

"Absolutely loved The Old Woolstore. Great location, just a couple of minutes walk to the water, less than 10 mins to Salamanca and the same to the main shopping area. We had a one-bed apartment with a spa and the room was incredibly spacious, two sofas, full Foxtel channel service, kitchenette. The spa was clean, modern, great size for two. Would definitely stay here again. So good."

"The room was modern and clean, the staff were personable and helpful, and I have consequently taken an Accor membership. Moving forward, I will most definitely be looking to stay here again, as it is in the most convenient location I can think of in central Hobart. The convenience of being able to request an umbrella for day use from the concierge was perfect for the one day of rain out of the seven we spent there. Literally my only complaint is around the lack of cutlery/crockery in the room to use with all of the delicious cheeses etc. sold locally, and I would have LOVED if there was a rooftop bar, or top floor lounge bar to socialize."
