"This worked well as a super last minute night after our previous plans fell through. The room was clean enough with a few stains on the pillows. Unfortunately it reeked of weed so we had to air it out. All in all very reasonable night all things considered"

"The floor was so dirty the bottom of my shoes are cleaner. Better than last stay but now they’ve added a new barrier which is the virtual assistant. The janitor had to come out and help me because the submit button didn’t work. I get it that there’s a push toward ai and automation but if you lose the humanity, why would I ever travel."

"The staff was awesome and the area walkable the bed was comfortable. It was an older hotel in a historic building. The history was cool, but I did knock them as they didn’t have their own parking. You got a pass to hang from your mirror, then find a place to park in the neighborhood. I thought this was iffy, but I had no problems. It’s an older hotel building. The room had a physical key rather than a magnetic lock, which I thought was quaint."

"The Carter House Inn is a replica of an historic Victorian building and has a quaint, cozy, welcoming feel. We enjoyed a free glass of wine with a delicious dinner (Carter House Inn salad of frisee, pear, kale, spiced pecans), mushroom tart with goat cheese, and poached sockeye salmon, grilled asparagus and delicious lemony hollandaise sauce. "We loved our stay, the rooms , lobby, pool area and barbeque area were well maintained and user friendly. We had our small dog and there was plenty of areas to walk her. The staff was extremely nice and friendly."

"The room itself was clean, but the area around and outside of the hotel was a bit sketchy. My kids liked the indoor pool. It was okay for one night, but I would probably try to find a different place to stay if I go back to the area."
