"My expedia says check in at 3:00. Hotel says 4:00 and they were terrible at communicating when rooms were done amd we didn’t get in until 4:30. Parking was ridiculously expensive and they put two pending charges for $192.00 and $242.00 before they figured out the correct amount. Had to call back because they charged me for two valet parking permits when i purchased one.. not a great experience"

"The parking was terrible. They charged us $10 for parking when we told them we had a car, yet didn't provide us with a parking space. There was a wedding and there was no place to park. The AC unit was so loud in the room that I woke up every time it kicked on thinking it was a truck going up a hill. The bed was also squeaky. AND NO REFRIDGERATOR IN THE ROOM. "The hotel (Forest Park Hotel) is owned and operated by a very rude young lady. The first room we stayed in (114) has no working air conditioning. They moved us to another room (208) which had bed bugs. The overnight front desk attendant with the hat was always on bs. I recommend saving your money and finding another suitable hotel. "

"We had an excellent 3 night stay. Staff was great…they accommodated us when we asked to extend our stay by 1 night. Lots of information about St. Louis was available. The fridge, microwave and dishes on the top floor made it easy to enjoy our leftovers from Vito’s. It did get cold one night and there was no thermostat in our room, so extra blankets would have been appreciated. "

"Located on the campus of Washington University right next to Forest Park. It is centrally located. We were lucky enough to sail on the fifth floor. I do have laundry facilities upstairs as well as a coffee, tea refrigerator microwave area not sure if that’s on every floor, but it was on the fifth rooms were very nice bathroom very clean spacious staff was wonderful to deal with. "Dan was a fantastic host as well as being a very kind person! Rosie, the cohost, might be somewhat intimadating at first glance for some, but she is a very sweet character when you get to know her. Breakfast was made with love by Dan and the whole house is tastefully original as was my room. The area itself is very inviting and parking is absolutely no problem. A stay that will always be positively remembered."
