. The room was very comfortable and nice size. It was very clean with great facilities. Breakfast was tasty with quick service and great quality. Parking was very easy around 100m walk away was a very large free public car park, and we found it very easy to stop outside the hotel to unload and load the car when needed. "

"We had a fantastic one night stay with our
family
of two adults, two children (11 and 6) and dog. We especially loved exploring the grounds, meeting the peacocks and relaxed dining in the drawing room (Polly the pooch was made very welcome and the service was 5*). The staff were lovely and dealt with all our queries with a smile. The daily tour of the castle was another highlight, with a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. Thanks for a wonderful stay! 😊"

"I booked in January for a summer weekend, arrived in July to find hotel closed and had to find another hotel. I contacted the hotel through expedia and through their website twice in the week running up to my stay. The Guest House did not respond I arrived to find Hall Bank Guest House locked up and closed. I had to find emergency accomodation for the night. I suggest that potential holidaymakers think very carefully before risking booking Hall Bank Guest House"
