"Think of this as an apartment hotel and you'll have the idea. The unit was as pictured. The security process at the front made us feel very safe, but took a little time at check in. Some issues with a nearby tenant whose cannabis smell kept getting into our room somehow. Lots of closet space. Comfortable beds. A few odd things like no hand soap in the bathrooms."

"Hotel reception is on the first floor of the building, which is served by a lift or you can easily walk up a flight of stairs (if you do not have heavy things to carry). First impression of Habitat is that it is modern and clean. My room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast area. Initially thinking that it would be noisy but it wasn't. "Exceptionally friendly and attentive staff who truly go above and beyond. The rooms are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with high-end touches like Diptyque bathroom amenities, a complimentary minibar, coffee facilities, and convenient parking garage. One standout feature is their breakfast, served until 4 PM (!) and included in the stay — an incredible idea that makes for a wonderfully relaxed experience. "I had lots of bug bites staying 2 nights at the hostel. Please avoid this place as much as possible. The main reasons are below. 1. Construction site right across the street, very noisy during the day. 2. No kitchen to cook food 3. Majority of rooms are very hot despite outside temperature was just 20-25 Celsius. And no A/C in the room I was staying. 4. Shower room has no hook or rack to hang clothes and put shampoo on. Very inconvenient. 5. Too many people staying here finish their parties...

"Beautiful hotel and convenient location with a lovely staff. I felt like I was at home. The hotels in a safe location so Everything is accessible by foot. The waterfront is a 10-15 minute walk but beware you’ll get deterred on your walk because there’s so much to see on the way. There are various restaurant options up and down the street and one of the best ice cream shops in Cape Town just a 5 minute walk. I wished I could have stayed longer there. The room was more of a cozy apartment....
