Hotel Loa

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel Loa was a pleasant surprise during our trip to Iceland. We picked it because it was convenient to Westman Islands and Thorsmork. However it was a class hotel. Modern rooms and gathering areas, helpful staff, very comfortable rooms. Dinner menu had wide range of choices and breakfast buffet had everything. You won't go wrong if you choose Hotel Loa."

"We stayed at Guesthouse Vatnsholt with another couple at the end of July. We booked the Deluxe room, which was quite spacious and a beautiful view. The other couple booked a standard room which was very small but clean. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. Although the guesthouse was in a beautiful location, it felt overrun by campers, which they allow on the property. There were a lot of kids playing on the grounds, which is nice to see, but created a lot of noise. The breakfast was quite expensive for what was served. We had stayed in other guesthouses in Iceland that served a better breakfast at a much lesser cost. We were also surprised that we had to pay to use the pool table."
