"A clean room with a comfortable bed, tv, small fridge, and small bathroom with a shower. It was a Friday night, so I guess that accounts for the loud all night party on the floor above. My first stop after I drove away I discovered that someone had hit and damaged my brand new car in the small parking lot."

"Rooms were very clean. I think this is one of the only hotels I have felt truly safe with staying by myself. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the property itself is beautiful. Their thermostats were also very nice, typically hotels don't have them, but I appreciated that this one did!"

"Wow! What a great experience this was. I love how when I walked in the hotel I immediately saw smiling faces and a poster of President Obama in the corner. It was right on brand for my stay as I was visiting the Obama Presidential Center for the Grand Opening weekend. The breakfast was delicious and I love that we had a space to park at the hotel. This hotel was convenient for my commute in Hyde Park. I will be back. Thank you, staff for your service and kind hospitality!"

"I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has so many negative reviews. I was worried that my stay would be disappointing, but for $70 in the Chicago area, this is an incredibly fair deal. Both the hotel and my room were clean, the bed was comfortable, and I was very happy with my stay. A big bonus is that there’s a Denny’s right across the street, where I had both dinner and breakfast. There’s also a shopping plaza just a 3-minute walk away, which was very convenient."

"Room had toothpaste splattered on the mirror, someone’s hair all over the floor in the bathroom, huge stains on the walls, used tissue in the toilet. I tried to flush it and the toilet didn’t seem to want to flush I tried3 times and it finally went down and the phone in the room had some sort of grease all over it and was never cleaned. Very disgusting!! Also it was right by the expressway and traffic was down to one lane due to construction and there was a very loud constant banging noise every...

"The room was ant infested. The ants got into our new can of $46 formula which weh and all over items on tv counter. Once I got up and started moving around the ants were in our bed and bags. I requested a new room and was given one. The shower had shampoo smeared on wall and all over dispenser as if it weren't cleaned prior to our arrival. All I was given was free parking since I booked through a third-party."

"Very run down. Mold in the shower. Missing security bolt from door. All rooms were supposed to be non -smoking but everything reeked off cigarettes, including the hallway. Comfortable bed, clean linens are a definite plus. Breakfast was cold cereal and hostess mini donuts. Police were called two out of three nights to handle domestic disturbances."
