"After many years of travelling, we stayed at our first bed & breakfast at No.5 East. Beautiful old mansion with beautiful rooms to stay in. Nice area with restaurants and shopping around the corner. Continental breakfast was great and the Latte’s exceptional. The hosts were amazing and easy to talk to. We will certainly stay again on our next visit to Winnipeg. 5 stars from us"

"First and foremost the staff where absolutely fantastic. The building is aging and not much has been done to keep things current. Our room had no windows and was very hot and stuffy. Staff provided a fan but we had to leave the door open to the room after every shower otherwise it was unbearable. There was a light in our room that was non functioning and you could tell by looking at it that it was fried. Tv dos not work the first night(we where offered another room but did not want to lug...

"Clean and spacious room, comfy bed, friendly staff. The property and rooms are a bit dated. Decent location. The bar looked fun but didn't go in. The bar had live music on the night I stayed, which could be heard in the room, but it was good music so I didn't mind! If traveling with kids, I wouldn't recommend, but for a solo traveler or fun-loving couple, it's a decent enough place. Didn't have breakfast, but it smelled wonderful! "

"Honestly I didn’t feel too safe at this location. There is a pub/bar connected and it truthfully just gave me not so great vibes. I didn’t want to leave my room if it was dark and the unit doors had a 1-2 inch gap at the bottom, so if I put my phone on the ground… I could pretty much see into the unit across the hall. I had to use a towel to cover mine. Also, because of this - that meant you could literally hear EVERYTHING from in the hall or other units… I won’t be staying here again. "

"This is a good place to stay if you’re traveling because it is so close to the Winnipeg bypass. The beds are comfortable and the showers are hot and there’s a breakfast included. "

"The room was clean and comfortable, we booked two rooms in this hotel for my daughter’s birthday, she wanted a place that had a pool and slide and this location was great for it. Everyone enjoyed there time and I would book again. "
