"Historic small hotel located in south Cabbagetown area. Room was adequate size and clean. My room was quiet. Window air conditioner worked staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure about parking but unlikely, the streetcar stop conveniently just by the front door.. basic nothing fancy. I had a good stay"

"Hotel per se is good. Main issue: the front desk tried **twice** to overcharge me. Twice they reverted the charge. I asked for a printed receipt on checkout, they gave me a lame excuse so I knew something was up. Charges showed in my credit card ... 5 days after checkout. Very poor business practice. Too bad because otherwise no complaints. "

"Beautiful room, friendly and helpful staff, and all the amenities you’d need in the hotel but also within walking distance of absolutely everything you could need. They have deals at the restaurant downstairs to bring up to your room, which was the more cost effective option to room service at hotels. First time at the Chelsea and it is the new favourite! Actually preferred it to the Fairmont, and for the very reasonable price, that literally can’t be beat. Will be returning!! Thank you to staff at the Chelsea for the wonderful stay."
